Mankind has been using the psychedelic experience for eons. The Stoned Ape Theory was first proposed by 20th century ethnobotanist Terence McKenna (1946-2000) in his 1992 book "Food of the Gods." The basic concept is that the consumption of psychedelic fungi may have played a crucial role in the development of human mind and culture. It is believed that hunters found that certain fungi when consumed heightened their senses. Furthermore, it brought self-reflection and language to the mind. This is the basis for all human achievement. The ability to notice patterns, reflect on what was experienced and expand what is possible. When leveraged effectively, these experiences can have a profound impact.
We are in a mental health epidemic. Depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide, and, in the United States one person commits suicide every 11 minutes. Many of these deaths are veterans who suffer from PTSD. As a whole, veterans are twice as likely to commit suicide compared to civilians. More veterans die by suicide than in combat. Psychedelic-assisted therapy is one of the most effective tools we have to solve this mental health epidemic. This just points to the reality that psychedelics offer us the ability to transcend whatever barrier we are dealing with. We don't have to only be in extreme pain. What if we could use these experiences so it never got that bad? The countless majority that suffer just under where they would like to be. Or the OG's on the human development path, be you psychonaught, shadow work, light worker, business leader, or someone who strives to be the very best of who they are.
These experiences can be difficult to unpack for multiple reasons. First off, the western mind has layers of coding that runs in direct conflict from some of the lessons learned through psychedelic use. That psychedelics should be classified alongside Schedule 1 Narcotics is just one of the examples from a cultural perspective. Your personal beliefs around who you are and what you believe you can accomplish are more direct and to the point. Having someone experienced in psychedelic integration work with you at any and all stages greatly enhances the retained benefit of the experience.
Much of the time these new blocks of information are so big that we can't expect to unpack them all by ourselves. Having a trained guide who can support you in integrating the lesson into your life is vital in making the journey worth the price of admission. We have 20 plus years creating and integrating transformational experiences before, during and after the experience. Let us know if we can support your journey.
The window of change opens the moment you choose to engage the medicine. Some part of you knows the journey you are about to embark. You wouldn't travel around the world without preparing. What makes you think a trip to another world shouldn't have a little preparation? By engaging a psychedelic integration coach early, you increase the level of impact, make the journey smoother and open the door to even deeper awareness.
Our work with Ayahuasca is done through church ceremonies. Our psychedelic integration coach is trained to hold space through your ceremony and be there to integrate through the weekend.
This is a taxing process for all involved. The church will provide the medicine, volunteers, on-site medical staff and is located in the US. The church processes are second to none and the safest place on the planet to take the medicine.
This is where the rubber meets the road. Your psychedelic integration coach will work with you to unpack what your ceremony/journey brought up for you. Whether we sat with you in ceremony or you brought us on just for integration, we understand the massive amount of information that you most have uncovered. It can feel like crossing the Grand Canyon. Our experience and focus is to provide the highest level of integration and implementation in your life or team.
